Free Play Days close tonight
Xbox Wire’s September 24 Free Play Days post runs PGA TOUR 2K25 and Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 for all Xbox members through Sunday, September 27, with no Game Pass required. The Escapists 2 and Young Suns stay limited to Essential, Premium, and Ultimate, and Young Suns is confirmed for console and PC. On console, install from Store → Subscriptions → Free Play Days.
If you liked what you tried, Xbox Wire’s keep-it pricing lists PGA TOUR 2K25 Standard at $17.99 (from $39.99) and notes Division 2 Standard at up to 90 percent off. Pure Xbox’s Ubisoft sale still shows Division 2 at $4.49 on Xbox in the U.S.; Steam’s U.S. PC listing is $2.99 this morning. Confirm on your storefront before you buy. PGA’s featured quest, The Captain’s Call, still asks for five fairways in regulation, five birdies in one round, and three putts from 10-plus feet for 250 VC, three Fittings, a LVL↑ Token, 600 MyPLAYER XP, and a Silver Leather Watch cosmetic.
Witcher 3 Remastered lands Tuesday as a free upgrade
CD PROJEKT RED and The Witcher site both date The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered to September 29 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with a free upgrade for existing owners on GOG, Steam, Epic Games Store, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Remastered also launches natively on Nintendo Switch 2 and Battle.net the same day. Deku Deals lists the Switch 2 digital MSRP at $59.99 for new buyers; Switch owners can claim it on Switch 2 at no extra charge once it is out, as a separate Home menu download. Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine were already unlocked for free for current base-game owners and ship inside Remastered.
If you still need a library copy, Steam’s U.S. Complete Edition is $24.99 this morning (50 percent off $49.99) and should convert to the Remastered upgrade on day one for qualifying platforms. GamesRadar’s how-to matches CDPR’s framing: Xbox digital owners lean on Smart Delivery, Xbox disc owners grab the free upgrade from the Series X store page, and PS5 disc owners still need the disc in after claiming from the hub page.
PS Plus Extra’s September 29 wave

PlayStation Blog’s September Game Catalog post schedules three Extra titles for September 29 in the US, UK, and Japan: Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, Dungeons of Hinterberg, and Sniper Elite: Resistance, each on PS5 and PS4. Push Square and GameRant match that date. Ragebound is The Game Kitchen’s 2D Ninja Gaiden; Hinterberg is Mimimi’s alpine dungeon-tourism RPG; Resistance is Rebellion’s WWII sniper campaign with optional co-op. Extra and Premium both reach the Game Catalog; Essential-only accounts will not. Outside those three territories, most of the month’s catalog already arrived on September 15.
One Monday reminder: Minecraft.net and Xbox.com put the Minecraft Dungeons II pre-order bonus (two hero skins, Twisted cape, Twisted chicken pet) on a September 28 at 12:00 PM PDT cutoff. Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass unlock the game September 29 per Xbox Wire Wave 2, but those Twisted cosmetics stay tied to pre-order.
