Witcher 3 Remastered reviews are out
The embargo lifted at 3:00 AM PT, matching the schedule MP1st published from CD PROJEKT RED’s timing sheet. Metacritic still lists Remastered as TBD, but enough same-day reviews are live to shape a Tuesday plan. Metro scores the Xbox Series X|S version 9/10, praising sharper combat and reworked skill trees while noting many original bugs remain. GamingBolt’s PC review is strongly positive without a numeric score and calls Remastered the definitive way to play with the expansions included. PCGamesN’s impressions like the fluid combat and free-upgrade framing, with a clear caveat that the brighter color grade softens some of the original’s grit.
The download unlocks Tuesday, September 29 at 3:00 AM PDT. CDPR’s Marcin Momot figures put the install around 45 GB on PC, PS5, and Xbox, and about 50 GB as a separate Switch 2 product. Existing owners still get the free path on GOG, Steam, Epic, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Steam’s U.S. Complete Edition is $24.99 this morning (50 percent off $49.99) if you still need a library copy. Platform claim steps are in our Sunday owner guide.
Minecraft Dungeons II: pre-order extras end at noon

Minecraft.net still dates the Twisted pre-order package (two hero skins, Twisted cape, Twisted chicken pet) through September 28 at 12:00 PM PDT, and Xbox.com’s product page matches that September 28 expiry. The game unlocks Tuesday at 8:00 AM UTC, which is 1:00 AM PT. Xbox Wire’s Wave 2 post and today’s hands-on feature confirm day-one Game Pass on console, PC, cloud, and handheld for Ultimate and PC Game Pass, with Play Anywhere linking the two. Steam’s U.S. Standard listing is $29.99; Deluxe is $49.99 with four hero skins, Soul cape, Blub pet, and DLC 1 and 2 when those packs ship. A Game Pass install tomorrow will not recreate Twisted cosmetics after noon today.
Toem 2 tomorrow, plus Extra
Something We Made’s photography sequel ships September 29 on PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Screen Rant scores it 9/10 today; GamesRadar and Polygon both lean strongly positive on the roughly four-hour cozy loop, while noting it is short and familiar if you loved the original. Steam still shows coming soon without a clear U.S. sticker in the API this morning, so confirm on your storefront. Nintendo Everything’s September 27 NA eShop roundup still lists the original Toem at $1.99 (from $19.99); check the eShop before you rely on that number. PlayStation Blog also keeps Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, Dungeons of Hinterberg, and Sniper Elite: Resistance on Extra for September 29 in the US, UK, and Japan.
