Witcher 3 Remastered: download day
The Remastered upgrade went live at 3:00 AM PT, matching Metro’s regional sheet and CD PROJEKT RED’s September 28 prep post. This is not another review scoreboard. If you already own Witcher 3 on GOG, Steam, Epic, PlayStation, or Xbox in the same platform ecosystem, take the free path today. TheWitcher.com still says physical or digital copies both qualify once you are on the matching current-gen machine. Plan on about 45 GB on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, or about 50 GB as a separate Switch 2 package. Steam’s U.S. Complete Edition is $24.99 this morning (50 percent off $49.99) if you still need a library copy. Claim steps stay in our Sunday owner guide.
Mode choice matters more than the download bar. Official notes put full path tracing on PC only, with DLSS 4.5, FSR 4, and XeSS 2.0 listed as the upscalers. On PlayStation 5 Pro, Ray Tracing Mode targets 60 FPS with PSSR, while Performance Mode targets 60 FPS and can push toward 90 FPS on VRR displays. Skill points reset under the new tree, so expect a rebuild even if saves carry over. Clear storage, update PC drivers, then pick a mode before you start.
Minecraft Dungeons II is live on Game Pass

Xbox Wire still dates Minecraft Dungeons II for September 29 on Cloud, console, handheld, and PC for Ultimate and PC Game Pass, and Steam shows the title available today at $29.99 Standard. Unlock timing remains 8:00 AM UTC, or 1:00 AM PT. Deluxe is $49.99 with the Soul cape, Blub pet, four hero skins, and later DLC 1 and 2. Yesterday’s Twisted pre-order window closed at noon Pacific, so a fresh Game Pass install will not recreate those cosmetics. Twisted buyers who made the cutoff should see the skins, cape, and chicken on the pre-order account. Edition details sit in yesterday’s launch checklist.
Toem 2, Extra, and tomorrow’s Game Pass exits
Something We Made’s photography sequel is out today on PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Steam’s U.S. store shows $16.99 this morning (15 percent off $19.99). There is no Xbox version. PlayStation Blog still puts Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, Dungeons of Hinterberg, and Sniper Elite: Resistance on Extra for September 29 in the US, UK, and Japan. Resistance already ran as a September Essential monthly earlier this month, so Extra is mainly for Ragebound and Hinterberg if you already claimed Resistance.
Xbox Wire’s Wave 2 list still names Atomfall, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Little Nightmares 2 Enhanced Edition, Little Rocket Lab, Sifu, SOPA: Tale of the Stolen Potato, Sworn, and Terminull Brigade as leaving September 30 on Cloud, console, and PC. Pure Xbox reports membership discounts of at least 20 percent while they remain. Today is the last full day to finish a save or check your account’s keep price before tomorrow’s removal.
