Fog season is on the calendar. Silent Hill: Townfall launches September 24, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, Konami confirmed when the date and pre-orders went live—and PlayStation Blog has been pointing DualSense owners at the same street date ever since.
Developed by Scottish studio Screen Burn Interactive and co-published by Annapurna Interactive and Konami, Townfall is a first-person Silent Hill entry set on the windswept isle of St. Amelia. You play as Simon Ordell, called back to put things right in a town lying quiet under heavy fog, with a pocket CRTV as your eerie companion through narrative-driven puzzles, tense evasion, and frenetic combat.
Deluxe early access and what PS5 players get

Pre-orders cover Standard and Deluxe editions. The Digital Deluxe path includes 48-hour early access, plus an alternate Simon outfit, interactive artbook, and digital soundtrack on top of the Standard pre-order CRTV cosmetics (Rusted and Beach Edition). Physical editions are PS5-only for pre-order, per Konami’s announcement.
On hardware features, the PlayStation Blog deep-dive from series producer Motoi Okamoto and writer/director Jon McKellan highlights DualSense adaptive triggers for firearms feel, haptic footsteps when something is hunting you, and motion-tuned CRTV signal fiddling. PS5 Pro enhancements are also part of the storefront pitch for owners chasing the sharper fog.
Horror week context — without spoiling the other clock

September 24 is a stacked horror day on PS5. Control Resonant also lands that same date across platforms (with its own Deluxe early-access path already covered elsewhere). Townfall is the Silent Hill half of that double bill: first-person fog, CRTV static, and St. Amelia’s quiet dread rather than the Federal Bureau of Control’s shifting concrete.
If you are planning a DualSense horror weekend, the practical split is simple—Townfall’s Deluxe early window for players who want St. Amelia ahead of the street date, and the shared September 24 unlock for everyone else on PS5 and PC. Official trailers from Konami’s State of Play beats remain the best spoiler-light preview before you step into the marina fog.
