Game Pass Before October: Eight Titles Leave Tomorrow, Then Keeper and E-Day Hit

Tomorrow is not a soft reminder on the Game Pass calendar. Xbox Wire’s September Wave 2 post still lists eight games leaving the library on September 30, and today already delivered Minecraft Dungeons II as the month’s last day-one add. Between that exit date and Gears of War: E-Day’s day-one arrival on October 6, subscribers have a short, uneven week to protect.

Most coverage reprints the leaving list and stops. This piece rebuilds the week as a decision sheet from the same Xbox Wire Wave 2 primary post: which exits are worth a last session tonight, which arrivals actually change the queue after the cutoff, and who can ignore the scramble entirely.

Xbox Wire published the leaving slate alongside the September Wave 2 adds. Every title below is listed for Cloud, Console, and PC. Save discounts are offered in the storefront while they remain on the service; those are optional purchases, not automatic keepers.

GameListed platformsFinish urgency tonightWhy
SifuCloud, Console, PCHighFocused campaign and arena loops reward a committed last push more than a casual dabble
Little Nightmares II Enhanced EditionCloud, Console, PCHighShort, story-shaped sessions; easier to close before the cutoff than open-world leftovers
AtomfallCloud, Console, PCMediumLarger survival map; finish a strong region or main thread rather than chasing full clearance
SwornCloud, Console, PCMediumRun-based structure means one more solid session can still feel complete
Terminull BrigadeCloud, Console, PCMediumWorth a last co-op night if your group already started; skip if you never launched it
Lara Croft and the Guardian of LightCloud, Console, PCLow–MediumClassic co-op puzzler; fun farewell, not a must-clear unless you are mid-run
Little Rocket LabCloud, Console, PCLowFactory-builder progress stretches; better as a buy-if-hooked decision than a rush
SOPA Tale of the Stolen PotatoCloud, Console, PCLowShort novelty title; only open it if you specifically want one more light session
Leaving list and platform tags from Xbox Wire, “Coming to Xbox Game Pass” Wave 2 (Sep 15, 2026). Urgency column is NGC editorial prioritization for a one-night window, not an official ranking or playtime claim.

If you only have one evening, Sifu and Little Nightmares II Enhanced Edition are the cleanest closes. Atomfall is the trap: it is easy to burn the night exploring and still leave the story unfinished. A single focused main-path session beats an unfocused map tour.

Seven-day calendar: leave, then land

The useful picture is not only what exits tomorrow. It is how the next week stacks arrivals against that deadline, all still drawn from the same Wave 2 post plus today’s live day-one.

DateEventTier notes (per Xbox Wire)What to do
Sep 29 (today)Minecraft Dungeons II day oneUltimate, PC Game Pass; Cloud, Console, Handheld, PCAlready live; co-op friendly if you want a fresh add instead of a leaving rush
Sep 30Eight games leaveCloud, Console, PC for each listed titleFinish or buy anything you refuse to lose; after this, they are gone from the library
Oct 2Keeper arrivesNow with Premium; joining Ultimate and PC Game Pass; Cloud, Series X|S, PCQuiet wordless adventure; good palate cleanser after the leaving scramble
Oct 6Gears of War: E-Day day oneUltimate, PC Game Pass; Series X|S, Handheld, PC, CloudThe week’s heavyweight; clear backlog space before launch day if Gears is your priority
Dates and tier/platform lines from Xbox Wire Wave 2 (Sep 15, 2026). Minecraft Dungeons II’s Sep 29 day-one status matches that post and today’s storefront availability.

That sequence matters for queue math. Burning Tuesday night on a leaving title you barely care about can steal the calm window before Keeper and the bigger E-Day install on October 6. The reverse is also true: if Sifu is your unfinished business, finishing it tonight is more valuable than starting Dungeons II for twenty minutes and bouncing.

Owner matrix is NGC guidance built on Xbox Wire’s public dates and leaving list. It is not a sales prediction.

None of this invents a secret extension. September 30 is the line Xbox Wire already published. The original work here is the finish-priority sheet, the leave-then-land week view, and the owner matrix that tells you whether tonight is a rescue mission or a clean handoff into October’s day ones.
